Hi ! My name is Lizzette, mom of 2 lovely boys I am Mexican, makeup Artist, living in Saint Lambert. In my spare time I love doing yoga, drinking coffee and doing art. Back in Mexico i started a project called Casa Ines, where we would host people to do different art activities with the purpose of creating using different type of media, connecting with emotions and with like minded people, we created a beautiful community, the sole purpose was to have fun and disconnect from the busy outside world, to go inwards, let our creativity flow and realize that everybody can do art. I would like to introduce that concept here, because I believe arts is a way of letting our souls speak, it is freeing and fun.

Inspired by the visual arts since childhood, I completed my training as an artist at the Académie des Beaux arts de Liège in Belgium (1978). Wanting to combine this passion with that of childhood, I completed my studies in early childhood education (1987), and at the same time became involved with the Saint -Lambert toy library. I made my debut at SOLEILLERIE as an educator in La Bambinerie parent-child activities in 1988.
Subsequently, I took charge of groups of 3- and 4-year-olds with Lyne Guérette, bringing a decisive touch to the plastic arts program by enriching the techniques and variety of mediums I offered. In 2004, motivated by the need to broaden the scope of art workshops, I introduced activities for school-age children, Picasso discovers the orchestra, giving youngsters the chance to continue their exploration in this field. A bit like Obélix, I fell into it when I was a child ......la potion des couleurs!
Together with Lyne, I'll be running training workshops for education professionals, as well as resourcing and family support workshops for parents.
With my colleagues and accomplices Danielle Lenoir (founder of SOLEILLERIE) and Lyne Guérette, I am co-author of the book “Les deux mains dans les arts” explore, s'exprimer, créer .... I remain active and attentive, with the aim of understanding and intervening in an effective and caring way.

The vision of Creative Connections
Welcome to our artistic space, a creative oasis where parents can come together to connect, create, relax, and support each other on this parenting journey. Whether you bring your baby with you or leave them at home to take some time for yourself, our space is designed to be flexible and adapt to your needs.
This is a safe and stimulating environment where women can openly talk, share their experiences, and feel a sense of community and belonging. You don’t need to be an artist to join us – our goal is to provide a space where you can let go of any preconceived notions about not being "good at art" or "not creative" and simply allow your creativity to flow. Our aim is to create a safe, welcoming environment where women can feel comfortable speaking openly and expressing themselves through art.
Enjoy the joy of creating, connecting, and letting the artist within you shine. It’s time to release your inhibitions and explore the beauty of artistic expression within a supportive community that empowers you.
Explore different mediums, try new techniques, and most importantly, have fun. Let go of your doubts and allow your creativity to express itself freely as you engage in various artistic projects and experiences. Unleash the artist within you! 🎨✨
